The great city of Boston will play host to our humble matrimonial event
Friday, Nov 7th
The first and most casual evening of the weekend. While we are busy with rehearsals, and nerves, and finding "something blue", you all get free time in our favorite city. Whether near the hotels in Boston, or near our neighborhood haunts in Cambridge, make sure to have fun!
- Dinner (6pm - 9pm): Self-organized dinner on the town. Click here for a list of recommended restaurants and watering holes.
- Drinks (9pm - whenever): Drinks with the future bride & groom. Downstairs at the Russell House Tavern, in the middle of Harvard Square.**
** Friday drinks will be casual. If you have any trouble finding our group, please call / text Claire Whitner, 617-784-3447.
Let's have some fun!
Nuptial site: the Old South Meeting House
Saturday, Nov 8th
The don't-miss event of the weekend - the wedding itself! All wedding events will take place in downtown Boston near the hotels.
- Daytime activities (before 5pm): Have fun around town. Click here for a list of suggested activities.
- Ceremony (5pm): Our wedding will be at the Old South Meeting House. Doors open at 5pm, ceremony to follow shortly thereafter.
- Reception (6:30 - 11:30pm): Wedding reception at Hampshire House. Be prepared to eat, drink, and be [extra] merry.
For parking, we suggest the Boston Common garage, with decent rates and reasonable proximity to both ceremony and reception. Many other garage options are available.
Note: transportation will be provided between ceremony and reception venues. Alternatively, it's a nice 15-minute walk.
Sunday, Nov 9th
For those around the day after, there will be a farewell brunch.
- Farewell brunch (10am - noon). To be held at the Nine Zero hotel, in the beautiful 3rd-floor Reflect Room overlooking the Granary Burial Ground.
- Sunday activities (noon - whenever). After the brunch, you're on our own! Enjoy whatever time you have left in Boston.
Thank you for coming to our wedding and making this a November to Remember!
